RISA carries out over 1,000 inspections every month, providing consistent, real-world insight into glazing installation standards across the UK. As the appointed body for all FENSA assessments, we bring a unique depth of technical knowledge to each case.
Our reports are used by solicitors, insurers, and claims professionals to support dispute resolution, including legal proceedings under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. RISA also provides fully independent Expert Witness reports, prepared in line with CPR 35 requirements — offering robust, court-ready evidence on compliance, workmanship, and installation quality.

Expert Determination
Expert Determination is a form of Dispute Resolution. It’s a binding alternative to going to court or arbitration
Delivers final, legal and binding decisions on issues such as building regulation compliance or installation quality
More efficient and cost-effective than court or arbitration
Ensures confidentiality, with no public disclosure of details with the average time for the process to be completed within 28 days

Inspection usually takes 1-2 hours.
