About RISA
RISA delivers professional, independent and impartial inspection & auditing across England and Wales. All services are delivered to the glazing and construction industries, the legal profession and homeowners to the highest technical standards and with outstanding customer service.
Trusted Compliance Support
RISA conducts over 1,000 inspections each month and is the sole provider of assessment services for FENSA. These inspections help installers demonstrate compliance with Building Regulations and uphold the standards expected of FENSA Approved Installers. Where issues are identified, RISA works with installers to support timely rectification — helping prevent homeowner complaints, reduce costs, and protect installer reputation.
Our Services for Installers
Quality Verification Inspections
Ensure that your completed work meets or exceeds all required standards, helping maintain your reputation and reducing the risk of future disputes.
Dispute Resolution Support
If you are involved in a customer complaint or dispute, RISA provides independent assessments to establish facts and help resolve issues quickly and fairly.
Expert Witness Reports
When disputes escalate to legal proceedings, RISA’s expert witnesses produce fully compliant, court-ready reports that support your position with factual, independent evidence.
Trickle Vents
Approved Document F legally requires trickle vents to be installed on replacement windows to ensure background ventilation. An exception exists where sufficient ventilation can be demonstrated by other means. RISA offers independent pulse testing to accurately measure background ventilation levels, providing the necessary evidence to support compliance without the need for trickle vents where permitted.
Why Choose RISA?
